This a BBQ restaurant. I had the three meat with two sides. It was very good. Would definitely recommend and return. Had a to go order.
The brisket is absolutely amazing. As someone who's 7 months pregnant and wanted something fully cooked and not suspicious about the amount of sodium consumption due to them cooking it and not seasoning it over thoroughly. It was so good and the mac and cheese was beyond me I loved it. My dad showed me this place one afternoon and I was stealing pieces off his plate lol.
Food service and atmosphere are always good. One of the best places to eat in independence.
We love this restaurant! Highly recommend The Loaded Lion grilled cheese. It's stuffed with brisket and an avocado. Delicious!!! My husband enjoyed the brisket and ribs!

Stop in there for a late lunch early dinner had the brisket wrap. My friends had a brisket salad and Asian chicken wrap. The food is very good. The hot things were hot my cold things were cold I highly recommend stopping in.
Great BBQ right across the street for SLU. We had ribs, pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, baked beans and everything was wonderful. If you find yourself in Hammond or independent, you should stop in.
